Top Ten Made for TV Christmas Movies
One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to sit back with some cocoa and cookies and melt into a sugary sweet world of formulaic romantic comedy. These squeaky clean TV movies call to mind a simpler time of main street USA, fake snow, low budgets and heart. Lots of heart. That’s what I love about these simple stories. I feel like as the audience, we are connected to the filmmaker and the actors by a common understanding. There’s no big budget or special effects team. They’re telling a story with the best resources available and we’re okay with that. In fact, we love them for it.
With that being said, there are some that you can TOTALLY skip over. There’s no heart in them. They’re just not good. So how do you know which ones to watch and which to avoid? I’ve got you covered! I’ve watched almost all of them over the years and I can confidently give you the best ones.
Get ready to set your DVR because here is my list of the best of the Cheesy, Made for TV Christmas movies.
